The primary mission of the WVU School of Journalism Alumni Association is to support and advance the school in its many endeavors. The association exists to promote the interest of the School and of West Virginia University by raising money for association events as well as contributions to the WVU School of Journalism Alumni Association Endowment. These funds help to support the school and achieve the mission of the association. As an educational and social organization, the association encourages fellowship and long-lasting relationships among current students, recent graduates, alumni and friends of the school by providing networking opportunities and disseminating information regarding association news, events and awards. The association believes that by providing these financial and social functions, we will continue to build upon the success of the school and its members.
