America (PRSSA)
The WVU P.I. Reed School of Journalism’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter is active each year in the national conference. This year students traveled to Miami, Fla., to network with industry executives and to get real-world advice on job hunting and resume building.
WVU PRSSA students participate each year in the Bateman Case Study Competition, where they organize a student-run firm and design a public relations campaign for a real company or nonprofit organization. Students also participate in campus projects, like promoting the university’s annual Country Vittles Buffet for Mountaineer Week.
