Dakota Swiger

Dakota is a senior journalism major with minors in English, entertainment media, and Appalachian studies. She is from Bridgeport, West Virginia, and has been named to the Dean’s list and President’s list every semester of college. She has worked the WVU Athletics Video production and ESPN+ crew for 4 years, where she is primarily a replay operator. 

Dakota spends much of her free time volunteering locally and nationally for HOBY Youth Leadership, where she currently serves as the Director of Programs for HOBY WV. She plans to pursue a master’s degree after graduation and hopes to eventually do communications or media work for an entertainment-based non-profit organization.
