WVU News is an Emmy-award-winning newscast produced by television journalism students at West Virginia University. In this edition, we cover growing concerns over water pollution in West Virginia, the debate surrounding synthetic food dyes and their impact on local businesses, and how a community pet food drive is helping families in need. We also highlight a unique elementary school newscast that’s building confidence and literacy among young students, and meet a breast cancer survivor finds healing and renewed confidence through the transformative work of a medical tattoo artist.
