Julianna Pond

Julianna is a senior journalism student from Wheeling, WV, minoring in English. She will be graduating with her bachelor’s degree in May of 2025. She is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists organization, film club, and WVU student media, working as a DJ for the college radio station, U92 The Moose. Julianna has also done freelance work for an Appalachia arts and culture magazine, YNST. Outside of school, you can find her selflessly serving the masses (working in the restaurant industry) and spending her time at the movie theater. Upon graduation, Julianna plans to travel abroad and immerse herself in different cultures, as she’s spent most of her life in West Virginia. Her dream job would be to work as a columnist for a magazine or working for a film production company.
