Mary Stakem

I was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. My parents attended West Virginia University, and I always knew that was where I wanted to attend. In my freshman year, I was given the opportunity to work for WVU Athletics Video Production on their video board and ESPN+ productions. I have now worked with them for four years covering all sports. I also produce the video stream for WV Metro News talk shows, Talkline and Sportsline. WVU has a National Sports Media Association chapter, which I am now the President of. In the Spring of 2024, I was inducted into the Kappa Tau Alpha Honor Society. I am currently in my last semester of undergrad. After graduation, I will be pursuing a master's degree in Sports Management. Fun Fact: I recently ran the Disney marathon
