Shannon Wasson

Hi, my name is Shannon Wasson, and I'm a senior majoring in Sports Media with a minor in marketing at WVU. Originally from Queens, NYC, I grew up as a huge New York sports fan, which later drove my career in sports media. For the past year, I have been working in Pittsburgh for both the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Pittsburgh Penguins. Interning at both organizations, I have honed my skills in corporate partnerships/sales, contributing to partner relations in the greater Pittsburgh area. I look forward to Mountaineer Playbook and the opportunity to collaborate with so many of my classmates. Let’s go Pens!

Fun Fact: I live on one of the only eight beaches in New York City!
