Maria Evans

My name is Maria Evans. I went to John Marshall High School, where I was a part of the WJMH Media, our school's CTE broadcasting program. During my senior year, we produced a weekly broadcast where I was anchor one/ assistant production manager and gained experience doing all different types of stories, while interviewing people all around our community. We also did a lot of events outside of school where I would mainly be the sideline reporter. I also co-hosted the Moundsville Christmas parade twice. That is where I gained my love of journalism and decided to pursue it here at WVU. After graduation in December, I plan to become a sports or political reporter.

Fun Fact: I have two tattoos
