Brandon Kubiak

Brandon Kubiak is a senior at West Virginia University pursuing his sports media degree.
Originally from North Jersey, Brandon has known he wanted to be in the sports media industry
since he was in middle school. He helped run his high school's social media and YouTube
livestream up until his graduation. This past spring, Brandon was a writer and editor for
BlueGoldSports for roughly 7 months before the company was sold to WVUsportsnow in late
May. He learned to write/edit articles on key sports events while also learning to navigate the
sports social media world. Brandon is looking to find one more internship for his resume, which
may be in the spring or post-graduation, before applying for jobs in the professional sports world
in 2026.

Fun Fact: My #1 goal out of college is to work for a sports team in the city of Philadelphia.
Whether it is professional or amateur, that is where I would prefer my career to take off.
