Calvin Kleppner

Cal Kleppner is a Senior at West Virginia University majoring in Sports Media as well as
minoring in sport communication and marketing. Cal was born and raised in Inwood, West
Virginia.

For the past 2 years, he has been a manager for the WVU women’s basketball team where he
has built many close connections with coaches and staff. He recently started an internship in
their creative media department where he aids and assists in their social media output. Through
shadowing within that, he has gained many skills in how to create audience engagement, how
to operate camera equipment, understand the media side of recruitment processes, and more.

Cal will graduate in December of this year where he plans to stay and obtain a GA position or
obtain a masters. He plans to pursue a career in Creative Media for either a collegiate or
professional sports team.

Fun Fact: I have four dogs back home, all rescues.
