Chelsea Mariani

Fun Fact: I went to my first Steelers game this past November.
Growing up in the Pittsburgh area, sports were always more than just games—they were stories, traditions, and moments that brought people together. That early passion shaped Chelsea's interest in sports media and storytelling and continues to drive her work today. Chelsea is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Sports Media and a minor in Event Planning at West Virginia University. Through her academic work and hands-on experience, including a completed internship with WVU Athletics Marketing, Chelsea has developed skills in fan engagement, promotions, and behind-the-scenes sports production. As part of Mountaineer Playbook, I aim to highlight the people, passion, and impact of WVU Athletics while continuing to grow as a sports storyteller and broadcaster.
