Katelyn Harrison

Katelyn Harrison is a senior Sports Media major from Charleston, WV. Having a passion for
storytelling through photography and film you’ll always find her behind the lens of a camera.
While in school Katelyn has interned with the Wheeling Nailers ECHL team in Wheeling, WV.
During the 2024-2025 season she interned with them as a team photographer capturing photos
during home games to be posted on the team’s social media channels. She plans to intern with
the team again this upcoming season as a fan engagement photographer. Upon graduating in
May 2026 Katelyn would love to work with a sports team on either their marketing, social media,
or community relations team.

Fun Fact: Unlike most people who end up working in sports I haven’t been a sports fan my
entire life. While I only stumbled into the sports world a few years ago I would say it gives my
storytelling a unique and different perspective.
