Brogan Dozier

Brogan Dozier is a graduate student at West Virginia University, pursuing a Master’s in Journalism while simultaneously completing her Bachelor’s degree through the school’s 4+1 program. A native of West Virginia, Brogan is set to graduate in May 2026 with extensive academic and professional experience in media, communication, and leadership. Passionate about storytelling and public service, Brogan aspires to a career in political journalism. She has worked as a press intern for Senator Joe Manchin, served as WVU’s Student Body Vice President, and reported for Mountaineer Playbook, where she covered women’s basketball and campus events. She has also gained experience in student engagement through her graduate assistantship with the department. Outside of her professional work, Brogan is deeply involved in her community. She has volunteered on flood relief projects all over WV, helped organize leadership programs, is a member of the League of Women Voters, and is committed to uplifting underrepresented voices. When she’s not working, she enjoys shopping, cooking, attending sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. Brogan’s ultimate goal is to combine her love of communication, leadership, and service to make a meaningful impact in both journalism and public life.
