Drew Solt

Drew Solt is a third semester journalism student pursuing his Masters. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from WVU in the spring of 2024. He is originally from Lancaster, Ohio. He is the graduate assistant for WVU Health Sciences Communications and Marketing. Solt has worked for WVU Athletics video for 5 years and also does freelance work in live sports production. He has been on the Dean’s list multiple times during his undergraduate studies and the first two semesters of his graduate studies. 

His love for broadcast television goes back to when he was a kid. His dream is to be an anchor or reporter in news or sports or go into marketing communications.  He is looking forward to growing as a person and student while taking WV Today this semester. 

Fun Fact: I have never traveled out of the country.
