Patrick Walsh

Patrick is a senior sports media student at West Virginia University. A former Division III Baseball player, Patrick transferred to WVU after his freshman year. Patrick is from Macedon, New York, roughly 25 minutes outside of Rochester. 

Inspired by icons, such as Stuart Scott and the late Vin Scully, Patrick joined a middle school NFL magazine club, “Tuesday Afternoon Quarterbacks,” a magazine that highlighted key players and box scores from action in each week. 

At WVU, Patrick has been a part of U92 and was a main anchor for Mountaineer Playbook. This past summer, Patrick called games for the West Virginia Black Bears, an MLB Draft League Affiliate. After graduation, Patrick’s goal is to head to graduate school, but his dream is to call a World Series or Stanley Cup Final.
